Every Friday from 8am until 12pm, the Northeast Indiana Solid Waste Management will accept hazardous household waste at their Ashley facility. This is available to residents located in DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble, and Steuben counties. Commonly accepted items are paint thinners, used oil, antifreeze, kitchen cleaners, pesticides, and herbicides. For a full list of accepted items and applicable fees, visit niswmd.org.
